Five saxophonists on a musical journey around the world
One theme, one weekend, many events: The patent of a certain Adolphe Sax from 1846 provides an opportunity for an all-round view this summer. The SIGNUM saxophone quartet as prizewinner in residence and its guests present the saxophone as an instrument with many faces.
A quintet is also a guest of the SIGNUM saxophone quartet this Sunday! The musicians of Five Sax invite the audience on a multicontinental musical journey. It begins in South America, where the Argentinian tango is explored, followed by a stop on the West Side of New York. Then the Atlantic is crossed and it's back to the Old World...
