Event area at the Kornhaus

12:00 to 16:30

Exhibitors will be demonstrating ways to effectively combat global warming and protect the environment. Get to know the first Bad Doberan citizens' energy cooperative and become part of the local energy transition.

Use the finep water toolbox to find out how much virtual water is contained in our food and clothing and how the climate crisis is affecting access to water worldwide.

Dancers from the SAPATOS CEGOS dance spectacle will make a surprise appearance, transforming the theme of water into a dance spectacle and taking visitors out of their everyday routine.

Families can look forward to a colorful program with craft activities, face painting, toy exchange, children's climate quiz with great prizes, hands-on activities, outdoor climate game, clothes swap, energy bike and book tables.

An exciting (wet) highlight for our younger visitors is the water play mobile right next to the Kornhaus.

On the event grounds, you can find out about sustainable mobility with e-bikes and cargo bikes - including a test ride. This year, we are awarding a prize for the longest bicycle journey to the Climate Day - so it's worth coming by bike in a climate-friendly way.

With pasta, cakes, hearty sandwiches and ice cream, visitors will be well catered for. You are welcome to bring your water bottle, the water counter from the Zweckverband Kühlung will provide visitors with fresh, cool water.

The Kornhaus Café is open.
