On International Museum Day, the Bergen Town Museum on Rügen opens its doors to a curious public from 11 am to 4 pm! The permanent exhibition "From the Stone Age to the City" with its high-quality copies of the "Blue Tooth Treasure", the medieval linen cloth and its pictorial representations made of silk and linen and the impressive, gilded replica of a Romanesque chalice invite you to take a relaxed stroll through the history of Bergen and the Island of Rügen.
The original and impressive patchwork works of the Sundquilter working group in the special exhibition of the same name, "Sundquilters Treasures. Patchwork and Quilting". At 2 p.m., one of the textile artists will give a guided tour of the exhibition and talk about her work.
