a guest in Redefin
She is back: the fascinating and exceptional pianist Hélène Grimaud presents two piano concertos in the riding hall at Redefin State Stud, which she considers to be a special concert venue. For the musician, Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor op. 54 is the "most sensitive, most delicate, most special of all piano concertos" and impresses with its particularly balanced relationship between the piano and orchestral parts, which the Camerata Salzburg will perform this afternoon. This will be preceded by Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 - a work that ECHO-KLASSIK prizewinner Grimaud has already recorded with the New York Philharmonic.
