25 acrylic paintings by the Güstrow native are on display
Born and raised in Güstrow and living in Magdeburg for many years, Manuela Moritz has dedicated herself to art since childhood.
She uses her many artistic talents, such as painting, singing and writing, with great dedication.
Since 2017, she has held several exhibitions a year in various German states, primarily with acrylic paintings and collages. She has also made a name for herself through thematic art projects. Abstract and colorful representations are typical of her art. Some of her works also contain figurative elements.
With the exhibition "Floral and abstract dreams" in the Alte Schule/Stadtbiblio-thek Krakow, Schulplatz 2, 18292 Krakow am See, Manuela Moritz would like to turn back to her homeland "Mecklenburg-Vorpommern".
She has been running her own studio in Magdeburg since 2019 and published her first, self-illustrated volume of poetry "Lebensbilder" in 2021, in which she also addresses the topic of "Heimat". Last year, she organized a concert reading at Martina Fregin's gallery in Güstrow, which was very well received.
The new exhibition of around 25 acrylic paintings will be ceremonially opened on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. and can be viewed until August 9, 2024 during the opening hours of the city library.
