The SIGNUMs say goodbye
The prizewinner in residence, the SIGNUM saxophone quartet, and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival celebrate their grand finale with a program that has never been seen or heard before at the Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg. Astor Piazzolla's Tango Suite, played by a large orchestra and four saxophones, is one of the extraordinary events of the season. This is the NDR Radiophilharmonie's third appearance at the 2024 Festival Summer and the collaboration with the SIGNUM saxophone quartet is indeed a premiere. You can look forward to the unique sound that the orchestra and saxophone quartet will develop together under the direction of Polish conductor Marzella Diakun.
