Songs from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, performed by Julia Fercho and Martin Müller-Schweinitz as a vocal duo - the Polish contralto and the German baritone have been a sought-after ensemble since their joint concert debut in August 2023, performing with various partners on organ and piano in many parts of Germany in addition to their numerous solo engagements. They know no separation between the different genres of "sacred" and "secular" music - everything springs from the artists' enthusiasm and joy of making music.
The duo's partner for their concert in Stralsund is Alexander Warnke, who will also perform as a soloist on the organ.
Works by Schütz, Hammerschmidt, J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, César Franck, Cornelius, Dvorák, Roessel, Webber, Vierne and Hiller will be performed. Admission is free, a collection is requested to cover the costs.
