Beach, stones, sea and lots of things to try out are waiting for you. Together we will go in search of the most exciting phenomena by the sea. Did you know that small gemstones are often hidden in the sand or what a grain of sand looks like? Or how much salt there is in the Baltic Sea water? Using a magnifying glass and hydrochloric acid, we explore the secrets of the stones and look for traces of life from long ago. We also try out a few chemical experiments on the beach, measure the acidity of various liquids like real chemists and investigate whether our brown stones could be amber., © Julia Vollmann
