An intermezzo is more than just an interruption. It is a moment of pause, a sonorous interlude in the midst of lightness, emotion and depth. In this spirit, we would like to offer you a festival week that combines contrasts: between tradition and modernity, between familiar masterpieces and rarer treasures, between summery light-heartedness and touching intensity.
Outstanding young musicians will take you on a musical journey with seven varied programs:
An atmospheric "prelude" at Ralswiek Castle, which gives a first insight into the musical diversity of the coming days. "Pas de Deux" with some of the most beautiful duos in music history in the Altenkirchen parish church, followed by the first highlight in the Putbus Theatre, where a program full of color and "contrasts" awaits you.
Magical worlds of sound in the Kunstscheune Vaschvitz, where "myths and fairy tales" are brought to life. Enjoy our "Mélange Concert" with coffee and cake in the Goor bathhouse before heading straight back to Putbus, where we follow in the footsteps of Maurice Ravel and celebrate his 150th birthday together.
Our "Closing Concert" takes you to the Kultur- und Wegekirche Landow - a musical review of the past days, in which lively popular songs will send you off into late summer.
