Bamboo bow making*

Building your own bow, a fascination for millennia. In the mobile wood workshop of Schnitzmobil, children and adults can fulfill this wish.

Schnitzmobil has been on the road since 2004. It takes half an hour for the tent to stand, the carving benches to be set up and the tools to be set up. All the furniture and the carving benches are self-built, from wild wood and old timber. Bamboo is used for the bow making. Tools from Uropa's time are used to carve, saw and file. Experienced staff lead the courses, which last one to three hours, depending on the model.
