It's Bluestime: In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Blue Wave Festival Binz, musicians from the international blues scene will be guests in Binz from 12 to 15 June. There will be plucking, drumming, swinging and singing in many places that will make New Orleans pale with envy.A special highlight are the »Pink Piano« concerts on the Kurplatz. Musicians meet there as soloists or in bands on the stage - an experience not only for blues connoisseurs.

The See See Riders (DEU)
The See See Riders are a young quartet dedicated to "American Roots Music". With fiddle, double bass and resonator guitars, the "See See Riders" take you on a musical expedition that takes them not only through the muddy wastelands of the Mississippi River, where musicians like Charley Patton and many others once formed the blues, but also to New Orleans, South Carolina and Louisville Kentucky, where ragtime, swing and the jug bands shaped roots music. The young musicians thus embody a diversity embedded in modern arrangements but still true to their roots.
Armano's distinctive voice and swinging guitar, Stephan's groovy bass runs that really don't let a foot stand still, Bekki, with virtuoso fiddle á la Clifford Hayes, and Benjamin, with the singing slide playing of a Tampa Red, complete the sound. The pieces are rounded off with polyphonic singing, which brings a warm folk character to life.
