Family festival with Big Jump at the Inselsee

Together for water protection - a day full of fun and commitment

On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the Barlach town of Güstrow cordially invites you to the family festival with Big Jump at the bathing area on the Inselsee (near the Kurhaus). From 10 am to 5 pm, visitors can look forward to a varied program for the whole family - with music, hands-on activities, information and culinary delights.

Program highlights:

• Chill-out music and moderation with Olaf Niemann from Ostseewelle
• Live music by Olaf Hobrlant
• Hands-on activities by the Güstrow volunteer fire department
• Offers from the MV wildlife park
• Participation of the Güstrow water sports clubs
• Quick sketch artist
• Presentation of the Güstrow Card
• Information about water protection from the LUNG MV
• And much more

Setting a joint example:
The central Big Jump will take place at 11:00 a.m. - a joint jump into the water as a sign for water protection.

• Environment Minister Dr. Till Backhaus
• Representatives of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Office for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Geology (LUNG MV)
