At 9:00am the big beach volleyball tournament will start, with three games running in parallel: a men's team, a women's team and the mixed team.
In the 1920s, beach volleyball was an American pastime. Today it is an Olympic discipline. But that doesn't stop sports enthusiasts in Sellin from still having a lot of fun when they compete against each other in front of the pier. Short and fierce is the game. Strong leg muscles are needed for fast movements in the fine Sellin sandy beach - but anyone can participate. Spectators are also welcome to this lively event at the Sellin pier, can listen to the music and cheer on the teams.
By the way: There are player shirts and prizes for each player. The three best teams will even win a prize money. So get on the ball!
