The nature park was registered in 2005 and covers 540 square kilometres. It is stamped by deeply cut in cross-valleys by the Warnow, many lakes and extensive forests.

You can find guided hikes through nature on the internet, for example the beaver tour with the field guide through the “Glasermoor” by Kritzmow.
