Tourist information and welcome centres, sustainable

Enjoyment of art and nature are closely linked in Ahrenshoop. In order for guests of the Baltic resort to find the optimal offer for their vacation, the employees of the guest information and accommodation office of the spa administration are available with numerous tips and information.

As a municipal enterprise, the spa administration is responsible for fulfilling the tasks of the municipality in accordance with the spa regulations. About 20 employees make sure that the guests of the Baltic resort feel comfortable and like to come back.

Tourist information and accommodation service

We are happy to answer the numerous questions of our guests about the most beautiful days of the year. In addition to information about sights, events and excursion tips, guests can obtain postcards, hiking maps, tour suggestions, event tickets and a variety of information brochures from us. Our employees regularly take part in further training and information events in the region and are happy to pass on their knowledge, including the odd insider tip, to our guests.

Whether you are looking for a vacation apartment/house, a guesthouse or a hotel - we will be happy to find the right vacation accommodation for you. If you don't necessarily value personal advice, you can also choose your vacation home online, e.g. on our homepage, from a large number of properties. This works around the clock.

We look forward to welcoming you in our typical local cane roof house with Darß front door! In the immediate vicinity is the bus stop Ahrenshoop Mitte, so you can reach us well with the bus line 210, if you come from outside. There is a charging station for e-cars in the parking lot of the spa administration. You will find another charging station on the large central parking lot on Dorfstraße.

Our guided tours

The scenic diversity as well as the special nooks and crannies of the Ostseebad Ahrenshoop can best be explored on foot or by bike.

If you want to learn more insider tips, stories about our artists' and seaside resort as well as interesting facts about coastal protection and dynamics and the nearby National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, join our mid-week guided tour.

Discover Ahrenshoop through the eyes of the painters of the artists' colony on our guided bike tour along the Ahrenshoop Art Trail. The bike tour takes place from April to September on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.

From spring to autumn you can follow in the footsteps of Ahrenshoop's prominent bathers, especially writers, with the author Dr. Kristine von Soden on the monthly tour ahrenshoop.höchstpersönlich.

Events and exhibitions

The cultural heritage of the village as a former artists' colony and fishing village is cultivated with a varied program of events that reflects the diversity of traditions and artistic life in Ahrenshoop. The annual cultural highlights include the Ahrenshoop Jazz Festival, the Long Night of Art, the final concert of the Naturklänge series, the Althäger Fishing Regatta, the Ahrenshoop Literature Days and the Ahrenshoop Film Nights.

For our younger guests, the Ahrenshooper Children's Summer from mid-June to mid-September with many (creative) offers such as handicrafts with natural materials or amber hunt ensures unforgettable vacation experiences.

All year round changing exhibitions with works from the time of the artists' colony to contemporary art are offered in Ahrenshoop, among others, our gallery Kunstkaten Ahrenshoop.

Blue Flag

Since 1998 the "Blue Flag" is flying at the main tower of the DLRG at the beach entrance 12 in the Baltic resort Ahrenshoop. This is an international environmental symbol that stands for good bathing water quality as well as an audited environmental and safety management and for which the spa administration successfully applies every year.
