The second largest Baltic resort on the Island of Rügen is something special. Landscape and weather characterize the relaxed way of life of the locals, which sometimes spills over to hectic city dwellers. The idyllic nature, which depending on the season is sometimes ruggedly demanding and sometimes quite delicately our setting, is juxtaposed with the sophisticated spa architecture. The Sellin pier with its superstructures is a landmark of the Island of Rügen.

With body and soul - SELLIN

Hebben is beder als brucken, secht man jo so. And so the people of Sellin always see to it that they "tosommen hebben" everything: lake and sea, hills and meadows, reeds and stones, sand and shells, storm and calm, rough-wooled caps and sexy bikinis. Besides the outrageous charm of Sellin itself, the Baltic resort offers its guests one thing above all: nature in abundance - and a whole lot of soul.

The second largest Baltic resort on the Island of Rügen is something special. The landscape and weather characterize the relaxed lifestyle of the locals, which occasionally spills over onto hectic city dwellers. The idyllic nature, which depending on the season is sometimes ruggedly demanding and sometimes quite delicately our setting, is juxtaposed with the sophisticated spa architecture. The Sellin pier with its superstructures is a landmark of the Island of Rügen. At its feet the main beach at whose Spülsaum not only Kleckerburgen built but also to the south beach can be walked. Wilhelmstraße, lined with linden trees, hotels and guesthouses, cafes and restaurants and pretty shops, invites you to stroll and linger.

Seafarers' House, museum and gallery convey history and culture. At the harbor, the berths of the excursion ship MS Sellin and the smoking ship MS Roland, leisure captains cast off their lines in front of a colorful backdrop. In the Sellin hill country you can explore the four districts and experience the breathtakingly beautiful Bodden landscape. The spa administration offers great summer open airs, harbor and pier festivals, sports events, guided hikes and bike tours, small concerts and great theater. Families feel good sunbathing on the beach but also splashing around in the Ahoi!Rügen adventure pool. They go on an amber hunt, balance themselves on SUPs or conquer Sellin at the pirate festival. You can find the extensive event program here.

Tip: Whether from home or already on site: download the Baltic resort Sellin app on your phone and use it to get all the information about the place, accommodation, events and gastronomy.
