Wolgast’s city museum, because of its shape lovingly called “coffee grinder“ by the city’s residents, hosts an exhibition about the town’s history which is closely linked to the shipping industry.

Furthermore there is a section dedicated to the time Wolgast belonged to Sweden and a living room decorated in authentic GDR style. An old classroom and a historic craft exhibition are accurately portraying how life has been in earlier times.
