The small amount of space makes Lütow a pure windsurfing spot. The spot works especially well with wind from south to northwest directions.
The spot is located on the Gnitz peninsula, west of Lütow. It is somewhat hidden on a quietly located campsite. Here you can enjoy the nature and in connection with the resident surf school experience a relaxed surfing vacation on the Island of Usedom. Kiting is not recommended or forbidden due to the small amount of space and especially when the school is in operation. Otherwise you will find a decent shallow water spot with a sufficiently large standing area on the backwater. Surfers should definitely watch out for obstacles such as boats and large rocks in the water and near the shore. The spot is most likely to be recommended in south to northwest winds, with easterly winds there is too much wind coverage due to the peninsula near the shore.
