Harbours and marinas

From the Barther Bodden the Barthe Strom can be approached. On the western shore of the Barthe Stream is the port of Pruchten. The fairway allows boats with a maximum draft of 1.4 meters to pass through. The Barthe is a popular water hiking and fishing area. The village of Pruchten is located about three kilometers north of Barth at the Meinigen bridge, the transition to the Zingst peninsula, thus both the Baltic health spa Zingst and the Vineta town of Barth with its diverse shopping opportunities and cultural offerings can be reached quickly.

The Pruchten pier is located on the western shore of the Barth Stream. It is approved for small fishing and sport boats. The access road to the pier is not buoyed and should therefore only be used with knowledge of the area or with shallow-going boats.
