Castles and Manors, Holiday flats, Co-working spaces, marry and celebrate

A nature retreat with historic manor house, manor park with lake and Schinkel chapel. 12 rooms, function rooms for groups, culture and vacation in Vorpommern.

Gutshaus Battinsthal Only 1.5 hours from Berlin lies the listed estate Battinsthal surrounded by vast nature. This estate was acquired by Carl von Schuckmann in 1817 and expanded to a good 1000ha. After his death, it was run as a von Schuckmann family foundation from 1851 to 1945.

Today the estate consists of the manor house, the steward's house, a stable, the manor park and the park chapel. The manor house dates back to about 1830. Since 2012 it has been renovated after many years of vacancy and is now available for events with suitable rooms and guest rooms. The steward's house from 1900 is now equipped with three comfortable vacation apartments.

The completely overgrown approximately eight-hectare estate park with lake was restored by the municipality in 2017. The extraordinary park chapel of the benefactors was built around 1850 by Schinkel's student Gustav Stier. In 2021, with the help of a support association and state funds, the restoration of the nave was completed. Due to this combination in the good Battinsthal is married very gladly with celebrations up to 100 persons with immediate accommodation possibilities for up to 40 persons and more in the periphery of few kilometers.
