Gut Grambow stands for Mecklenburg from its most beautiful side. Not only the hunting license exam can be taken at the hunting school Gut Grambow, which is known far beyond Germany. Gut Grambow also offers the perfect setting for vacations with dogs and horses, for families, for those seeking peace and quiet, for hunters and nature lovers, for weddings under the open sky, for walking barefoot across the meadows and for conferences in an authentic ambience.

A hike into the rustic nature reserve Grambower Moor, a horseback ride across the meadows into the woods, a dinner in front of the flickering fireplace and far away from everyday life is a good start for your relaxation and whets your appetite to get to know more about the agricultural and forestry estate and the beautiful surroundings. In the natural history museum Grambower Moor in the building of the hunting school you can get a good impression of this unique ecosystem.

The historic buildings on the estate house 20 lovingly furnished guest rooms. For breakfast, lunch, afternoon cake or dinner you can meet in the Schmiede 16. Accompanied by regional products, the estate kitchen serves here preferably specialties of game and beef from the surrounding, sustainably managed forests, fields and gardens of the estate.

As a branch of the registry office, the smithy also offers an ideal location for weddings with up to 120 people. In summer, the cozy beer garden is a great place to take a break from a bike ride or a short excursion.

The renowned hunting school offers, beyond compact and intensive courses with final hunter's examination in the house, interesting advanced training and natural history seminars for the whole family(www.jagdschule.com).

Gut Grambow Shooting Center. Indoor shooting at distances of up to 100 meters is possible on 3 lanes all year round. A modern shooting range with shooting distances from 3m to 50m offers the ideal space for driven hunt training and practice in movement shooting. The 35-meter range is ideal for shotgun training and the two 100-meter ranges are ideal for rifle practice and gun training. The in-house master gunsmith workshop offers the optimal immediate service for gun purchases and repairs.

Renaissance castle Gadebusch

Chick Foundation

The representative classicist building on the south bank of the Pfaffenteich was built at the end of the 1860s. Composer Friedrich-Wilhelm Kücken established the foundation that gave the building its name, which supported destitute musicians until 1939. Today, the building houses a restaurant, as well as the state studio of the ZDF.

Museum Grinding Mill Schwerin

From magnificent floors to fine walking stick knobs, works of art made of stone and precious stones were produced for the ducal court in the Schwerin Grinding Mill. The mill is located on the edge of the stately palace grounds and is in working order and used as a museum. Visitors can learn about stone cutting and stone grinding and get to the bottom of the living conditions of the day laborers and grinding millers. The museum is open all year round.

Schwerin Cathedral St. Marien and St. Johannis

The proverbial highlight of the churches in Mecklenburg: Schwerin Cathedral. This imposing masterpiece of brick Gothic is the oldest building in the city of Schwerin, has the highest church tower in Mecklenburg at 117.5 meters and is the only true cathedral in the state. The cathedral is open daily. Those who climb the 220 steps of the tower are greeted by a breathtaking view over Schwerin's lake landscape.
