On the northern outskirts of the Hanseatic town of Demmin, at Peene kilometer 35, is the family-run WasserWanderRastplatz "kanuhaus" with attached canoe, rowing, motorboat and bicycle rental. A campground meadow, campfire and barbecue area, playground, RV sites, guest rooms and a parking lot round out the local offerings. Canoe or combination tours (canoe and bicycle) are offered or organized for individuals or groups. Individual wishes are gladly taken into account. Also for anglers driver's license free outboard boats are available.
