Restaurants, Exhibitions and Galleries, Cinemas, Holiday flats, Hotels and guesthouses, sustainable

For 25 years, the Alte Kachelofenfabrik has combined culture, gastronomy, eco-hotel, eco-holiday homes and guesthouse under one roof and is a welcome place for creative people, cineastes, locals and vacationers alike. Our motto: "Nature by day - culture in the evening".

The Old Tile Stove Factory was a production site for clay tiles until 1969 and housed the general administration of the consumer cooperative until the fall of the Berlin Wall. After the area was restored with heart and expertise, today culture is "produced" and performed within these walls.

The cultural and conference center is one of the city's cultural beacons with a radiant power that extends beyond the state's borders - the annual federal award for the art house cinema is just one indication of the cultural diversity and quality. Whether in the gallery for contemporary art, in the two award-winning cinemas, in the context of concerts and literature evenings - the "KOF", as it is affectionately called by the people of Neustrelitz, has a lot to offer.

The eco-hotel is designed for about 50 people and has eight cottages with three accommodation units each. The outdoor area is lovingly designed in detail and spacious as a whole. The spaciousness of the grounds and the associated meadow orchard offer space to gather strength and pause. At the öko-hotel, active and creative people will find everything they need.

The guest and group house is only a 5-minute walk from the main site and Zierker See and offers affordable accommodation for up to 30 people. The accommodation is ideally suited for families, school classes, hiking groups and active vacationers.

The restaurant with an outdoor terrace is located in the former workshop and firing rooms of the tiled stove factory. The restaurant attracts with its excellent cuisine and freshly prepared dishes. With enthusiasm for good food, the restaurant team creates weekly culinary revelations and culinary delights from primarily regional and organic products. On the outdoor terrace, in suitable weather, you can have breakfast or dinner under the shady canopy. For children there is also a small playground and free lawns to play.

In the unique ambience of the industrial monument Alte Kachelofenfabrik we have various offers for group and class trips, family celebrations, meetings, workshops, conferences, closed-door meetings or company celebrations in Neustrelitz. Our distinctive meeting rooms offer an atmosphere of creativity, where work becomes a pleasure - but not a minor matter - and where new ideas come to fruition.
