Only 300 m from the natural Baltic Sea beach, you will find our lovingly restored and furnished granary. Situated between the Hanseatic City of Wismar, the Baltic resort of Rerik and the island of Poel, the spacious vacation home offers the ideal conditions for a Baltic Sea vacation with family or for your group trip to the Baltic Sea. The beautiful landscape of the surroundings invites you to go cycling, hiking and horseback riding. In the village there is a mill with a museum, two galleries and a café. The beaches of the island Poel and Rerik are ideal for swimming and the Hanseatic City of Wismar offers harbor flair and a beautiful old town.

The large cozy lounge with the large dining table, the tastefully decorated rooms, the sauna and the wood stoves give the house its special ambience. On the first floor is the open kitchen, fully equipped with gas stove, oven, 2 refrigerators, washing machine and dishwasher and the beautiful cozy lounge with fireplace.

The attic is divided into 2 cottages and can accommodate a total of 15 people. Both houses are handicapped accessible and can also be booked independently. The main house has 12 beds, distributed in 7 double and single rooms and 4 bathrooms. In this house is a handicapped accessible bathroom with walk-in shower and sufficient holders as well as a platform lift. The smaller cottage, stands out design-wise from the brick building with its wood paneling and can accommodate 3 more people. This house also has wheelchair accessible sanitary facilities.

For groups of 10 people or more, we offer healthy, balanced meal catering. Our self-catering guests have the possibility to order fresh food in organic quality for the duration of their stay.

Island Museum Poel Island
