In recent years I have made music in many countries, seen new places, found new emotions and inspirations. But this great atmosphere that we have created together with the Art Club and with all of you is something very special that I have never experienced anywhere else. A new forest area has been created in the "North West Pomeranian Forest Landscape" in the Fischland-Darß-Zingst region in the immediate vicinity of the Schuenhagen forestry office building. This climate forest is dedicated as the "1st German-American Climate Forest". Together with the American Tourism Society, a major planting event was held on October 28, 2009, in which other forest campaigners were of course also happy to participate.

The Kranich Café in the Alte Schmiede is part of the Hessenburg estate, located 14 kilometers northeast of Ribnitz-Damgarten. The main attractions are the listed, late-classicist manor house, the neo-baroque estate park, which is also a listed building, and an early German tower mound from the 13th century (archaeological monument). In this historic, spacious ensemble, the Kranich Café stands like a jewel box from a bygone era: a graceful brick building with three round arches resting on masonry, decorated columns.
