The license-free trip makes sailors' hearts beat faster. Bubbling and gurgling, the boat pushes through the quiet waters and invites you to enjoy the unique natural landscape. From the Müritz it goes over its little sister and on the Müritz-Havel-Waterway to the romantic Mirow. Passing small boathouses and the peninsula Mirower Holm, the trip continues south. After the Diemitz lock, several lakes rich in fish form a winding ribbon. Eel and pike, zander and tench often provide a tasty supper. In the numerous small bays there are nice places to anchor and watch eagles and herons. Occasionally the call of the kingfisher resounds through the silence.

At Ellbogensee, the Müritz-Havel Waterway then meets the Upper Havel Waterway, on which the tour continues northward. After the Wesenberg lock, skippers can enjoy Mecklenburg cuisine in one of the many small restaurants in the town of the same name or enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the lake district from the tower of the castle. The further trip to Neustrelitz leads over the Woblitzsee and through the Kammerkanal to the Zierker See. The baroque residential town of Neustrelitz with its palace garden, orangery and palace church entices visitors to take a trip into history.

On the return trip, we recommend a stop in Mirow, where a unique castle ensemble is located on a romantic island. The enchanting palace garden is a wonderful place to stroll, and a royal treasure hunt awaits leisure captains and their crews in the 3-queen palace.

Water profile

License-free cruise through some of the most beautiful small lakes in Mecklenburg. Modern maritime infrastructure. On the trip there are 6 locks in each direction. On the Großer Priepertsee water ski track to be observed. Outside the fairway switch on echo sounder and drive slowly.
