In the watercourse directory of the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries (LALLF), more than 1,800 standing and flowing waters are presented. In addition, the brochure with detailed map and text section contains information on fishing rights holders, issuing points for fishing permits and tourist fishing licenses, protected areas and fishing from the piers and other coastal structures in the state.
The Landesanglerverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Angling Association) has compiled a directory of waters for its own, leased waters or waters to be fished by agreement with the lessee, with size, main fish species, supervising association, depth map, satellite image and other information on fishing.
