Schumann - Weinberg - Poulenc
Classical music with vision: Competitions, music institutions and foundations each present "their" young musicians for two days at Schloss Bothmer. All of them have already won important prizes and made a name for themselves in their field.
The first concert in the series will be given by a protégé of the Young Artist Trust: Jonathan Leibovitz, euphorically described by the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and others as a "clarinet wonder from Israel". In addition to clarinet sonatas by Weinberg and Poulenc, he will also be performing his own clarinet version of Clara Schumann's Romances for Violin. After his performance in the western stables of Bothmer Castle, he will join other performers in a discussion with the audience.
