Combined cycling and walking tour with Marie Bohnenstengel
Cycle with an experienced hiking guide through the approx. 6,000 year old Ribnitz Great Moor
and experience the fascination of the unique flora and fauna.
A special feature in the city forest is the "Ribnitzer Großes Moor", which is under protection since 1939.
This about 6,000 years old and until a few decades ago still used by peat cutting high or rain moor
is the habitat of rare plants and animals.
The tour is about 7.5 km long and takes about 3 hours (of which about 70 min on foot).
