The Orchestra for Early Music Vorpommern consists of young musicians who have specialized in historical performance practice in the region north of Berlin and provide lively and inspired accompaniment for choirs and ensembles in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg. The ensemble presents its own programs. The members have studied early music and play in renowned ensembles in Germany and abroad. A special feature of the ensemble is the equal collaboration between Polish and German musicians in the Vorpommern border region. As a chamber music ensemble, the Collegium für Alte Musik Vorpommern performs its own concerts with flexible instrumentation. The orchestra presents Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" in the spirit of the forces of nature on historical instruments, true to style and realism. The soloists play the four violin concertos both masterfully and elegantly and bring them closer to the listener with the help of a presentation and musical quotations. The musical setting of birdsong, the movement of the wind, the sound of water and the silence of the night are thus impressively brought to the audience's ears. In this way, the music becomes an unforgettable experience.
