Excursion to leaf and needle
On Tree Day at the zoo, everything revolves around the trees at Rostock Zoo under the motto "Excursion to leaves and needles". From 10 am to 4 pm, visitors can look forward to guided tours and exciting insights. The program includes designing wooden key rings, tree puzzles. Microscoping, identifying wood species and counting annual rings. There will also be a tree barefoot trail and exciting guided tours of the zoo's botanical treasures and through the rhododendron grove. The zoo's gardeners will also provide insights into their varied everyday work.
