The German Gents are a quartet from Berlin that was formed in 2018 from singers from the Staats- und Domchor. The group's first success was the a cappella competition held in Leipzig in May 2019, where they won first prize, the audience prize and two other special prizes. At their concerts, the German Gents present American classics from the 50s and 60s as well as the most beautiful German pieces from the golden 20s with an unmistakable sound. Charmingly and creatively, they also juxtapose modern pop songs with romantic male choral singing in order to do justice to their classical roots as well as their young age. The quality of their individual voices, their colorful sound and rousing emotions inspire the audience.
The German Gents are currently accepting invitations from numerous concert organizers and renowned festivals such as Musica Bayreuth, Rheingau Music Festival, Konzerthaus Berlin, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Live from London Christmas Festival and are celebrated as a rising star in the a cappella sky.
