TIP FOR KIDS: Beach explorers wanted
Equipped with a magnifying glass and a landing net, you will be a beach researcher on the beach and investigate the various creatures that live on the Baltic Sea coast of Usedom. Seagulls, jellyfish, mussels and much more are to be discovered and various questions answered. Do jellyfish have eyes, where does the sand clam get its name, do high and low tides exist in the Baltic Sea and how old is amber really? As "beach researchers" you will get to the bottom of the Baltic Sea.
In addition, dune protection and many environmentally relevant aspects are addressed and explained. The "3-Minuten-Müllsuch-Challenge" brings not only movement into the inquisitive round, but - unfortunately - also (much too) many things to the light, which do not belong to the beach.
We make a landing net and a beaker magnifier available to you on loan for the research to the meeting.
