One summer, on one of her lonely forays into the forest, Juliette meets a strange old woman who tells her that one day purple sails will appear in the sky and carry her out into the world ...
Loosely based on the novel "The Purple Angel" by Aleksandr Grin, Pietro Marcello tells the story of an emancipation in the time between the great wars in his unmistakable, unique way - a tangible, impetuous ode to the imagination, art and love, a fable full of realism and utopia, music and magic.
