The Pomeranian Artists' Association brings spring to the Waldesruh Gallery

Numerous art enthusiasts enjoyed the afternoon together in the Waldesruh Gallery and engaged with the diverse positions on the theme of "Spring". The exhibition was lively introduced with music by Carmen Gauger as well as the words of Sigrid Henschel, the chairwoman of the artists' association.
Nora Gauger, a member of the Pomeranian Artists' Association since 2018, had provided the impetus for this joint exhibition. In her speech, structured like a spring walk, she spoke of the individual characteristics as well as the connecting moments of the exhibited works. The artists of the Pomeranian Artists' Association are united above all by their reference to the Nordic cultural and living space of Pomerania. Thus, corresponding pictorial landscapes can be explored in the exhibition, such as the depiction of the steep coast of Klein Zicker by Karin Schmidt, that of a rustic forest by Herbert Raddatz or also seascapes by Johannes Kretschmer. Completely opposite rapeseed field views are found in Prof. Dr. Manfred Prinz and Annelies Stürzekarn - once expressive and once introspective.

The various positions on the theme of "spring" will be on display until May 25, 2019.
Visitors can also expect Lilo Schlösser's powerful landscapes, Christine Meyer's fantastic paintings, Sigrid Henschel's luminous tulip series and Nora Gauger's symbolist works.
