Imagine we have a mysterious map in our hands! It takes us on an exciting detective hike through Müritz, a district of Graal-Müritz that is full of secrets. We walk through the adjacent dense, green forest, where the trees are so tall that they almost touch the sky. Who knows what mysteries await us there?

Then the map also takes us to the rushing Baltic Sea, where we walk along the beach. The waves dance around our feet and we can smell the salt in the air. But we must not forget: We are in search of explanations and answers!

There are tricky tasks to solve and adventures to be had on our expedition. We can't reveal exactly what these will be today. But one thing is certain: it will be exciting!

Our discovery tour is not only an adventure, but also a journey into the history of our town of Graal-Müritz. We'll discover insider tips and find out why the famous writer Erich Kästner loved staying here. Maybe we'll even find his favorite spot?

So let's go on an exciting hike! Who knows where the map will take us?

"Emil and the Three Twins" is the sequel to the children's book "Emil and the Detectives", written by Erich Kästner (1899 -1974). The story takes place about two years after their Berlin adventures. Theodor Haberland, also known as Professor, has inherited a small house on the Baltic Sea and invites Emil and his friends to spend their vacation there. During their stay by the sea, they meet a group of artists called "The Three Byrons" and embark on a new adventure. The adventure takes its course when Haberland's parents set off for Denmark with Pony Hütchen and his grandmother, leaving the boys alone at the house by the Baltic Sea.

Erich Kästner spent summer vacations in Graal-Müritz on the Baltic Sea - for the first time exactly 110 years ago. It can therefore be assumed that he was inspired by our town for the setting of "Emil and the Three Twins".

Tickets are available at the Haus des Gastes Graal-Müritz (Rostocker Str. 3, 18181 Graal-Müritz) or at the info point at the pier as well as at the box office - while stocks last!

Please note: Children may only take part in the hike if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The maximum number of participants is 20 (first-come-first-serve principle).
