The giant toy - a tractor fairy tale
An old giant finds a tractor in a field. A tractor that he doesn't have yet!
Because he is a tractor collector. Well, of course he has to take it home with him.
But the farmer who owns the tractor doesn't put up with this and secretly follows the giant.
When he arrives at the giant's home, the farmer demands his tractor back, but the giant is only interested in his new toy and asks the farmer about the technical details. The farmer is horrified to discover that there are many other tractors in the giant's home. Tractors belonging to his neighbors! Unbelievable. How are the farmers supposed to cultivate the fields now?
But then the giant's wife turns up and makes short work of him: he ends up in a cage to be eaten!
But the farmer also has a wife, who has long been searching for him with her faithful dog.
A special puppet show about life in the countryside.
With this production, we draw the attention of children aged 4 and over to the importance of agriculture.
A play by Claudia and Hans Serner, freely adapted from a Grimm Brothers' tale
