open 2-6 p.m., courtyard café, gravure printing offer Elisabeth guided tours at 4 pm and 5 pm (duration 30 min, free of charge) Caspar David Friedrich's sister-in-law Elisabeth lived as a widow in an apartment in St. Spiritus from 1847 to 1866, as did her daughter and Friedrich's godmother Caroline from 1866 to 1882. This is illustrated in a small exhibition, as is everyday life at the time and the idea behind the foundation of St. Spiritus. Visitors are guided through the historical ensemble, from the attic to the cellar.
