Kings of folk music
The dream couple of folk music Marianne & Michael are going on their farewell tour in 2024. After a successful career spanning more than 45 years, they are bidding farewell to the stage and inviting the "kings of folk music" one last time. They will be joined by pop star Stefan Mross, pop icon Anita Hofmann and the unmistakable Ladiner.
The dream couple of folk music Marianne & Michael are synonymous with TV shows such as "Heimatmelodie", "Feste feiern", "Liebesgrüße von Marianne & Michael" and the hit ZDF show "Lustige Musikanten". Wherever Marianne and Michael perform, honest, harmonious and hearty folk music is guaranteed. Their many loyal fans have appreciated them for this for years. Now, after a successful career spanning more than 45 years, the stage and married couple are taking their leave of the stage with the program "Kings of Folk Music with Marianne & Michael". This is the last time visitors will see them on tour! They will be bringing their hits with them, such as "Unser Land" and "Wann fängt denn endlich d'Musi an", which have long been evergreens in the folk charts.
The duo's star guest is pop singer and all-round entertainer Stefan Mross, who has been a popular TV face since 2005 as presenter of the ARD show "Immer wieder sonntags". Thanks to his incredible media presence in all major TV shows, relevant print media, red carpet events and his popularity, Stefan Mross is one of the country's biggest entertainers.
The "Schlagerlady with Heart & Fire" Anita Hofmann must not be missing from this stage program. She inspires young and old with her temperament and naturalness. The singer released her debut single "Halb so schlimm" at the end of October 2022 and immediately reached number 1 in numerous charts.
The heroes of folk music, Die Ladiner from South Tyrol, complete this top-class artist program. They have already written music history and sparked a wave of enthusiasm for their touching music throughout the German-speaking world.
