Make your vacations colorful with changing workshops in Stralsund
The Vorpommern-Rügen Youth Art School invites children and young people to a creative summer holiday program! From 18.08. to 03.09.2025, from Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., a variety of workshops full of imagination and artistic fun await you.
Note: there will be no workshops at the weekends and on 29.08.
18.08.-20.08.2025:
"Picasso's Brush Party - Painting with brains (and color!)", 10-16 years
What do a crooked chair, a colorful cat and a face with two noses have in common? That's right: they can make a really cool picture - if the composition is right!
In this colorful summer workshop, we grab brushes, acrylic paints and good ideas - and explore how pictures are constructed in an exciting way. What attracts the eye? Where does what belong? And how do you bring order to creative chaos?
21.08-22.08 and 25.08.2025:
"Watercolor technique or what's swimming there?", 8-14 years
Get the paint wet, then it's much more fun! We create cards and pictures with watercolor. Sometimes we pull out the pencil, other times we let the colors and imagination run wild! Portraits, still lifes or funny animals - you have the brush in your hand...
26.08.-28.08.2025:
"Sea Sculptures - summer fun with modeling", 6-9 years
On the coast there is plenty of water, sand and... salt. We bring these ingredients into the studio and want to use them for shaping and crafting.
We want to take up ideas that the summer season throws at us and put them into practice. We will try out, knead, roll, shape and paint with salt dough. The small works created will be given to the little artists as souvenirs.
01.09.-03.09.2025:
"Draw your own comic world!", 13-16 years
Manga, anime, comics and illustration, sketchy or polished, anything is possible.

25 euros per day, incl. materials

It is not necessary to book the entire workshop length of three days. It is also possible to take part in just two days. If you book several workshops, you get a discount. If you come with siblings, you also get a discount.
