Art, music and 40,000 books - the Antiquariat Neustrelitz opens its doors on Saturday, March 30 at 3 p.m.
Neustrelitz. On Saturday, March 30, 3 p.m., the antiquarian bookshop at Am Stadthafen 17 will start its new season.
It is the tenth season organized by the Friends of the Book Association, which was founded in 1995 - a real anniversary year. The opening afternoon is planned to be correspondingly joyful and festive with free admission. The rhythmic program will be provided by musicians who have performed in the Antiquariatsspeicher over the last ten years, including the Strelicious saxophone quartet.
The new exhibition by Prenzlau-born artist Elke Harder, who will be presenting collages and small sculptures, will providevisual stimuli .
And last but not least, opening guests can browse through 40,000 books and music media to their heart's content.
Unfortunately, the antiquarian bookshop cannot accept any books or audio media this season due to the planned move to the first floor of the warehouse building. The regular opening hours of the antiquarian bookshop are Tuesdays to Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm. The cultural events (usually every first Wednesday of the month, 7 pm) will start on Wednesday, May 1, 7 pm with Katrin Matern, who will read from works by Eva and Erwin Strittmatter.
