The exhibition "Landscape between Hohenzieritz and Cape Arkona" shows works on paper and canvas, all of which were created directly on location in the landscape of Mecklenburg and the Baltic Coast. Over the years, favorite places have emerged, such as the gentle hills around Hohenzieritz, which open up a wide view of the landscape. Sometimes it is the horizon that forms the most important graphic line, at other times the prominent structure of individual leaves, flowers or branches and trunks that push themselves into the foreground. The color is often reduced to the perception of the first impression and then ultimately covers the entire motif - for example, the yellow of the flowering meadow becomes the yellow of above and below, of the sky and the earth.
