Music by Bruckner, Strauss and Schlenker
The long-standing artistic director of the Greifswald Bach Week and composer Manfred Schlenker completed the composition Lebensstufen (Stages of Life) to pictures by Caspar David Friedrich shortly before his death in 2023 - the work will be premiered during this Bach Week.
