Céline Moinet, oboe
Céline Moinet is one of the exceptional artists on her instrument. The young oboist's concerts are greeted with enthusiasm by audiences and critics alike. Her exceptional talent is making an impact: Céline Moinet is in demand as a soloist with many of the world's great orchestras. She has performed at the Salzburg Easter Festival under Christoph Eschenbach and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden as well as at the Pacific Music Festival under Fabio Luisi and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in Suntory Hall. She also undertakes regular solo tours with the Dresdner Kapellsolisten, the Prague Philharmonia and the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn. Céline Moinet, born in 1984 in Lille, northern France, completed her studies at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in the class of David Walter with top marks and the highest honors. At the age of just 23, Céline Moinet acquired the prestigious position of principal oboist with the Staatskapelle Dresden. Since then she has performed with conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Zubin Mehta, Claudio Abbado and Andris Nelsons.
Sindy Mohamed, viola
The French-Agyptian violist Sindy Mohamed is one of the most promising young musicians of her generation. As a soloist and chamber musician, Sindy Mohamed is a regular guest at major festivals such as the Schubertiade Hohenems, the Kronberg Festival, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and the Folles Journees de Nantes. Her chamber music partners include artists such as Renaud Capucon, Isabelle Faust, Lawrence Power, Tabea Zimmermann and Maximilian Hornung. Last season, Sindy Mohamed's musical journey took her around the world. In 2024 she made her debut at the renowned Heidelberger Frühling music festival.
Florian Uhlig, piano
Florian Uhlig gave his first piano recital at the age of twelve. He studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Florian Uhlig made his orchestral debut in 1997 at the Barbican in London. Since then, his busy concert schedule has taken him to the most important international concert halls. He has performed with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, the German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, the Bavarian Radio Chamber Orchestra, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. His artistic collaborations have brought him together with renowned conductors such as Krzysztof Penderecki, Michail Jurowski and Michael Sanderling. Florian Uhlig has been invited to festivals such as the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Hong Kong Arts Festival, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, France Musique Paris, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Schwetzingen Festival. His 19-volume Schumann cycle was honored with the German Record Critics' Award 2021, an OPUS KLASSIK 2022 and the Robert Schumann Prize of the City of Zwickau 2023. Appointed Professor of Piano at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden in 2014, Florian Uhlig accepted an appointment at the Lübeck University of Music in October 2019
