At Gutshaus Niendorf, Ninette Mathiessen presents herself not only as an artist artist, but also shows selected exhibits from the gallery's portfolio gallery, where a total of 17 different artists are represented by her. A café and delicious cakes from the manor's own kitchen await you at the Kutscherremise.
Born in Lower Saxony in 1974, artist Ninette Mathiessen only discovered painting in 2005 and has been running her studio and gallery in Travemünde since 2011. Her leitmotifs are maritime. Both abstract and with a real reference. The stereotypical fish is the artist's trademark and the FISH&SHIPS series is a fixed program on canvas. Her works have been shown in many exhibitions since 2011 and have also attracted international attention.
As a commissioned painter, Ninette also produces individual paintings in the desired format. Whatever the customer wants, Ninette produces it in her own style, creating unique pieces of very special value.
In 2017, she exclusively created 14 maritime motifs for the Priwall Waterfront vacation project, which can be seen as an edition in over 500 apartments.
Her tools are spatulas and painting knives. Brushes are taboo for Ninette.
