A "mathematical reading" with Robert Metcalf
Mathilde is a really nice rat. And she knows that math happens in children's everyday lives, for example when counting, measuring and weighing, throwing dice and sorting. She also knows that you can "grasp" these activities by singing, playing and using all your senses! And she says: Don't be afraid of triangles and squares or easy addition and subtraction! With Mathilde at his side, Robert Metcalf has found a way to practise such basic early mathematical experiences in song and movement through play.
Don't expect long periods of sitting!
