André Hatting's debut poetry collection sonntag comes in the format of a record single. But the track list is a triple list: Stralsund, Edinburgh, Bargfeld or Berlin, it goes cross-country through times and languages. Hatting's readings are adventure vacations and detailed perceptions. His texts manage, as Ulf Stolterfoht puts it in the afterword to the volume, "to fit spoken language, slang and dialect, foreign language, technical language and much more low language precisely into the overall high linguistic event."

was born in 1974 and studied linguistics, general and comparative literature and philosophy in Berlin. He works as an author, literary critic and presenter.
