Christine Schütze piano recital

Music by Chopin, Mozart, Schumann and Gluck. Various chansons such as "Ghost in this House" and "Baby alone in Babylon" are performed, as well as "Oblivion" by Piazzolla and Boulevard of broken dreams.

Christine Schütze was born in Hamburg and won prizes at youth music competitions as a child. After graduating from high school, she studied at the music academies in Hamburg and Lübeck, where she graduated with a 0.5 in her concert exam.
Christine Schütze has performed as a soloist at international festivals in Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, England and Switzerland. As a concert pianist, she has performed solo and with orchestra at the Berlin Philharmonie. She has also performed in Canada, the USA, Chile, Dubai and St. Petersburg. Christine Schütze won the Bad Bertrich International Music Summer in 2000. From 2007 to 2012, she taught piano at the Rostock University of Music. In 2013, she recorded Wagner for a project by the composer P. Schwalm.
