Once upon a time there was a sorceress who had a wonderful garden in which the most beautiful flowers, fruits and herbs grew. One evening, a man stole raisins for his wife, which looked so delicious that the woman could not resist eating them.
As punishment, the man had to promise his child to the sorceress! The enchantress named the child Rapunzel. She loved him very much and showed him the whole world until Rapunzel was twelve years old. Then she locked her in a tower in a forest with neither doors nor windows!
