Their texts are a panorama of literary diversity and show individual impressions and different perspectives of the famous artists' village.Jutta Rosenkranz, born in Berlin, studied German and Romance languages and literature and lives as a freelance writer and literature lecturer in Berlin. In 2007, she published the first biography of Mascha Kaléko (dtv, 17th edition, 2023) and in 2012 she edited and annotated the Mascha Kaléko Complete Edition (Werke und Briefe, dtv). In 2014, she published "Zeile für Zeile mein Paradies" - 18 Porträts bedeutender Schriftstellerinnen (Piper) and has published poems, prose, portraits of authors, essays and over 60 radio features and is the editor of several anthologies, including "Eines jeden Glück - Mit Virginia Woolf durch den Garten." (Berlin 2016, Insel-Verlag); "Letzte Gedichte - Dichter der Welt nehmen Abschied vom Leben" (Munich 2007, Manesse), "Berlin im Gedicht" (2006) and "Wenn wir den Königen schreiben" Lyrikerinnen aus der DDR (1988, Luchterhand). Awards (selection): Residency scholarship at Künstlerhaus Lukas Ahrenshoop (2022), research scholarship for literature from the Berlin Senate (2021), nomination prize for prose from Gruppe 48 (2020), nomination for the Juliane Bartel Prize, Hörfunk (2019 and 2009), Kammweg Literature Prize for Poetry (2014), GEDOK Working Scholarship of the State of Schleswig-Holstein (2004), Wiepersdorf Scholarship of the Berlin Cultural Fund Foundation (1992).She has also given over five hundred readings and offered "Literary Walks through Berlin - In the Footsteps of Poets" for more than twenty years.
